Renovation
We can assist you with renovations to facilities with high bay storage solutions. Our services include applying new features to existing equipment or producing a status report of potential improvements to your facility.
Retrofit
A retrofit involves applying new technology or technological components to old equipment.
What Are the Benefits of a Retrofit?
A retrofit is sometimes needed because certain pieces of technology expire faster than the rest of the facility. In these events, it is less costly to replace the specific part rather than the whole assembly.
Why is a Retrofit Necessary?
There are a number of factors that can result in a retrofit becoming necessary. Here are a few examples:
- Higher degree of wear on certain parts,
- Faulty construction,
- Parts that are no longer being manufactured or sold as spare parts,
- Electronic equipment that can no longer be repaired.

OSI, On-Site Investigation
We can be on-site during a specific period for two to three weeks to check how the facility operates. Though an experienced on-site technician, we can identify the issues, document them, and propose improvements.
Status report
We Will Assist You in Compiling a Status Report
Reviewing your facility occasionally and compiling a report of its status can be a good investment. We are more than happy to assist with this and suggest how your facility can be modernised and developed further.
Do You Need Help with a Status Report?
How Is the Status Report Compiled
We normally conduct an inspection where we map out the status of the facility as a whole. Inspections can also be carried out for individual components or parts of the facility. The results of the inspection are then presented in the status report.
The report contains an account of, among other things, availability and repair prospects. We also make suggestions regarding replacement products, modernisation or retrofitting.
What Contributions Can the Status Report Make?
Sometimes, there is potential for improvements or preventative measures that may simply not have crossed anyone’s mind. This could, for example, involve replacing a motor/gear for preventative purposes to avoid taking larger measures in the event of an emergency error.
It could also pertain to electronic parts that are technically expired, documentation that needs updating, or components that require reprogramming. The core function of the status report is for an external party (in this case, us at Highbay) to give an overview and offer new perspectives regarding what can be improved at your facility.
How Often Should a Status Report Be Compiled?
An inspection should be carried out every 10 years to check the repair prospects’ access to spare parts.
